Up to $9,500 for income-qualified households replacing windows and exterior doors with energy-efficient models. Amounts scale with your income level and household size — see the table below.
CleanBC, BC Hydro and FortisBC rebates can cover a serious chunk of your upgrade. Three quick questions for a real range — then we help you actually get it.
Answer three questions — we’ll show the range you could qualify for and email it to you if you’d like.
Estimates only — actual rebates are subject to CleanBC / BC Hydro / FortisBC program terms, eligibility & available funding.
Two roads to the money — the CleanBC programs or the FortisBC rebate. Here’s what each covers.
Up to $9,500 for income-qualified households replacing windows and exterior doors with energy-efficient models. Amounts scale with your income level and household size — see the table below.
Up to $2,000 for qualifying attic and blown-in insulation upgrades. One of the best payback ratios of any home upgrade in Northern BC.
$100 per window or door opening, up to 20 openings (up to $2,000) — the alternative route when the income-qualified CleanBC program isn’t your fit.
Under CleanBC, the two rebates stack — up to $11,500 together (windows & doors up to $9,500 plus attic insulation up to $2,000). Depending on your situation, rebates range from $950 up to $11,500.
Note: CleanBC and FortisBC can’t be combined — you’ll qualify through either the CleanBC program or the FortisBC rebate, whichever fits your situation. We’ll help you figure out which gets you more.
CleanBC’s income-qualified program uses your household size and combined income. “Up to” thresholds by level:
| Household size | Level 1 (up to) | Level 2 (up to) | Level 3 (up to) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 person | $47,007 | $61,697 | $99,891 |
| 2 people | $58,522 | $76,810 | $124,358 |
| 3 people | $71,945 | $94,428 | $152,884 |
| 4 people | $87,350 | $114,647 | $185,620 |
| 5 people | $99,072 | $130,032 | $210,528 |
| 6 people | $111,735 | $146,653 | $237,438 |
| 7+ people | $124,402 | $163,277 | $264,353 |
Level 1 qualifies for the largest rebates, Level 2 for substantial ones, and Level 3 / above-threshold households may still receive base (non-income) rebates. Renting? You may still qualify — some programs apply to tenants with the owner’s consent. Ask us.
Eligibility check, product specs, applications — we guide you through the whole process, paperwork included. It’s part of the job.
